seawolf bakery

Seawolf Bakery

The line is long but for a good reason. Our favorites are the savory croissant and the lye roll but you can't go wrong no matter what you order. If you go out to a restaraunt during your visit, there's a good chance you'll be having Seawolf's bread there too! Seen here is Allie's mom Rhoda showing off some of our favorites.

National Nordic Museum

Even if Allie didn't work here we would be recommending that you visit this place. It is in the heart of the Ballard neighborhood, the traditional home of Seattle's Scandinavian seafaring community. Visit to see the story of Nordic life in the United States!

Center for Wooden Boats

Center for Wooden Boats

Simply one of the best things in Seattle. Go wander the docks to see the beautiful old boats (stop next door at MOHAI for even more while you're there). If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a rowboat and float around Lake Union for a while.

Old Salt bagels

Old Salt Bagels

Seattle is not known for its bagels but if have a craving while you're here, we think you can't do better than Old Salt. We are known for our fish and you should definitely get some of their fish on your bagel.
